Robert Asch
Robert Charles Asch (born 1968) is a British Catholic writer and scholar. Born into an Anglo-Canadian Jewish family in London, he was educated at St Paul's School (London) and the University of Toronto. He converted to Catholicism in 1996 and writes from a Catholic perspective. He is co-editor of the St. Austin Review, a Catholic review of culture, and Editor of Saint Austin Press.
He has been Senior Master and teacher of English and History at Chavagnes International College, France, since its inception in 2002. He was recently awarded a Wilbur Research Fellowship at the Russell Kirk Center for Cultural Renewal for his work towards a new study of the English poet Lionel Johnson.
He is married to the poet Ruth Tyldesley Asch.
