Robert Brooks Brown (born April 14, 1959) is a United States Army four star general who became commander of the United States Army Pacific on May 4, 2016 shortly after officially being promoted to four star general.
From February 2014 to April 2016 he was commanding general United States Army Combined Arms Center.
From 2012 to to 2014 he was the commanding general of the I Corps at Joint Base Lewis–McChord.[1][2]
Brown graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School in Grosse Pointe, Michigan in 1977. He played for the Army Black Knights men's basketball team while attending the United States Military Academy where in graduated in 1981. He received a Master of Education degree at the University of Virginia int he 1980s.[3]
