Robert E. Bell
Robert E. Bell (1914 – January 1, 2006), was an archaeologist. He was a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Oklahoma from 1947-1980, and Curator of Archaeology at the Stovall Museum of Science and History at the University of Oklahoma (now the Sam Noble Oklahoma Museum of Natural History at the University of Oklahoma). He pioneered work on the Spiro Mounds archaeological site in eastern Oklahoma.
