Robert Gillam is an American investor. He is the founder and chief investment officer of McKinley Capital Management, an asset management firm.
Early life
Robert Gillam graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1968.[1][2] He received a master in business administration degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in 1969.[1]
Career
Gillam worked for Foster & Marshall, a financial firm, until it was acquired by American Express in 1982.[1] He worked for Boettcher and Company from 1982 to 1985.[1]
Gillam is the founder of McKinley Capital Management, an asset management firm.[1] He serves as its chief investment officer.[3] As of 2015, it had US$7 billion of assets under management.[1]
Gillam was a speaker at the 2012 conference organized by the Milken Institute.[3]
Personal life
Gillam resides in Anchorage, Alaska.[1]
