Robert Knox Ross (British Army officer)
Major-General Robert 'Bobby' Knox Ross DSO MC (23 August 1893 – 3 November 1951) was a senior British Army officer who fought in both World War I and World War II, where he commanded the 53rd (Welsh) Infantry Division throughout the campaign in North-western Europe from late June 1944 until the end of the war in Europe in May 1945.
