Robert R. Montgomery
Robert R. Montgomery (dates of birth and death are unknown) was an American inventor who invented fly swatters in 1900. Until his invention flies were killed with folded newspapers. [1] [2] [3] Montgomery sold his patent to John L. Bennett, a wealthy inventor and an industrialist who subsequently improved on Montgomery's design.[3]
