Robert "Bob" Noel Tinning (25 December 1925 – 19 May 2001) was an Australian rower who competed in the 1952 Summer Olympics.
He was schooled at St Joseph's College, Hunters Hill and his senior rowing was done with the Sydney Rowing Club.[1]
At the 1950 British Empire Games in Auckland he won the gold medal as part of the Australian boat in the eights competition. In 1952 he was the bowman of the Australian boat which won the bronze medal in the Men's eight at 1952 Helsinki.
