Robert Whittaker (army major)

Major-general Robert Whittaker

Major-general Robert Frederick Edward Whittaker CB CBE TD (18 June 1894 17 February 1967) was a Territorial Major-general who served with the Anti-Aircraft Command.[1]

He was educated at Ardingly College.[2] He held the ranks of Colonel in 1938, Brigadier in 1939, and Major-general in 1945. He was made an OBE in 1938, CB in 1943, and CBE in 1945.
