Robin Lawrie
Robin Lawrie (born 1945) is a freelance illustrator and author who has illustrated over 300 books in his 40-year career and written 24. Notable work includes a graphic novel adaptation of 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe' and 'The Magician's Nephew' by C. S. Lewis. He has also illustrated such classics as The Wind in the Willows, Peter Pan, The Secret Garden, and A Little Princess.
Lawrie and his wife, Christine, have written a series of eighteen mini-graphic novels called "The Chain Gang". The books are about a gang of downhill mountain bike racers. They are published in the United Kingdom by Evans Brothers and in the United States by Stone Arch Books as "The Ridge Riders". He has also illustrated books for Egmont Publishing.
