Rocco Reed (born July 26, 1982)[1] is an American former pornographic actor.[4]

Early life

Reed was born in Pageland, South Carolina, South Carolina.[2] He is of Italian and Greek descent.[1]

Reed attended Francis Marion University, and did not graduate.[2] [2] He also studied theatre in college.[2][3]

Career

Reed was working as a print and runway model when he moved to Los Angeles to continue modeling and pursue a mainstream acting career.[2] He shot for Playgirl a couple of times before entering the adult film industry in October 2006.[3]

Reed began directing for Penthouse in January 2011.[3] He made his directorial debut with a film titled 10 Things I Hate About Valentine’s Day, a romantic comedy based on the mainstream film Valentine's Day.[2] According to the Internet Adult Film Database, he was the industry's busiest male performer in 2011 with appearances in 133 new films that year.[5]

After signing a six-month exclusive performing contract with Men.com, Reed performed his first gay sex scene, with Tommy Defendi, on June 28, 2012.[6] In May 2013, he announced his retirement from adult films.[4]

Personal life

Reed was once engaged to pornographic actress Asa Akira.[7] Although he has performed in gay pornography, he has stated that he isn't gay.[4]
