Rock F. Jones

Rockwell F. Jones is the 16th and current president of Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. He was formally inaugurated on October 10, 2008, although he served as president of the University beginning on July 1, 2008. Previously, he held the office of executive vice president and dean of advancement at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. Jones also served as vice president for enrollment and dean of admission and financial aid, interim vice president for student affairs, and chaplain at Hendrix College, his alma mater. Jones holds a PhD in educational administration from the University of Texas at Austin, a master of divinity magna cum laude from the Duke University Divinity School, and a bachelor of arts with honors from Hendrix College, where he received the college’s President’s Medal, presented to the student who best exemplifies the school’s highest ideals.[1][2]
