Rod Glenn is an author and actor from the north east of England.

His debut novel, The King of America first published in 2006, is an action thriller set five hundred years into the future with the Americas (North, South and Central) all ruled by a European-style monarchy. Noted author and BBC writer, Keith Topping described it as "This lyrical futurist-epic uses allegory, wit and fancy to stretch the reader's imaginations beyond breaking point. A major achievement." (Keith Topping, March 2006).

He achieved critical and commercial success with Sinema: The Northumberland Massacre released in 2007 (Wasteland Press) and again in 2010 (Wild Wolf Publishing). It is a contemporary thriller set in the north east of England about a film-obsessed serial killer stalking a remote Northumberland community.
