Rodney H. Brady

Rodney Howard Brady[1] (born 1933) was for many years the CEO and president of Deseret Management Corporation. Also from 1978 to 1985 he was the president of Weber State College.

Brady is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). From 1953 to 1955 he served as a missionary for the LDS Church in Great Britain. He received his bachelor's degree and MBA from the University of Utah. He then received a doctorate in business administration from Harvard Business School.

From 1970 to 1972 Brady was the assistant secretary for management in the United States Department of Health, Education, and Welfare. Before that time, he had served as an officer in the United States Air Force.[1]

After stepping down as president of Weber State College in 1985, Brady became the President and CEO of Bonneville International that same year. He remained in his position with Bonneville until the formation of the Deseret Management Corporation in 1996 and his placement as the President and CEO of that organization.

Brady served as an LDS Church bishop in California and as president of the church's Los Angeles California Stake,

Brady plans to step down as head of Deseret Management Corporation in March 2009.
