Rodolfo Tálice

This name uses Spanish naming customs: the first or paternal family name is Tálice and the second or maternal family name is Ruiz.

Rodolfo Vicente Tálice Ruiz (Montevideo, 2 May 1899 – 2 June 1999) was a Uruguayan scholar, physician and writer.

In the 1960s he was dean of the School of Humanities and Sciences, University of the Republic.

An early advocate of environmentalism in his country, he was the presidential candidate of the Green Eto-Ecologist Party in the elections of 1989 and 1994.[1]
