Rogério Skylab (Rogerio Tolomei Teixeira),[1] born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, 1958, is a Brazilian vocalist, composer and poet, graduated in literature and philosophy.[2] Former member of the Zumbi do Mato (forest zombie) musical group.
Importance

Biography
Skylab has a grotesque aesthetic style, combined with a lyric attitude that became one of the basis of his work. He began his musical career in 1991 and became widely known in Brasil with many appearance on Jô Soares talk show. He was a Banco do Brasil employee, where he has worked for 27 years.[1] He interacts with the public during his performances emphasizing his lyrics, which have attributes of pessimism, repetition and artistic scatology. His genre is often referred to as black humor with an undefined music style, all part of the sense that they meant in the 80's.
He has affirmed that Skylab disk series ended at tenth album.[8]
In 2012, he became the host of the talk show Matador de Passarinho (Bird Killer) on the TV channel Canal Brasil.[9]
Rogério is married to photographer Solange Venturi.
