Rohit Viswanath

Rohit Viswanath is a researcher in public policy and a media commentator. [1] [2] [3] He was the editor of 'Insight from India on Politics, Economics & Strategy'. [4] He was associated with the Indian Council for Research on International Economic Relations (ICRIER), an Indian think-tank, where he managed the Strategic and Economic Capacity Building Project (SECP). [5]

As a journalist has wrote editorial pages for The Times of India. He commented on foreign policy, international relations, political economy and business. He was the recipient of the CNN Young Journalist of the Year Award in 2006.[6]

Rohit holds a Master's degree in International Relations. He has participated in the archaeological excavations at Gilund, an Indus-Sarasvati valley civilisation site in Rajasthan.
