The Roman Catholic Diocese of Cruzeiro do Sul (Latin: Dioecesis Crucis Australis) is located in the city of Cruzeiro do Sul, Acre, Brazil. It is a suffragan see to the Archdiocese of Porto Velho.
History
On 22 May 1931, Pope Pius XI established the Territorial Prelature of Juruá from the Prefecture Apostolic of Tefé. Blessed John Paul II elevated the prelature to the Diocese of Cruzeiro do Sul on 25 June 1987.[1][2]
