The Roman Catholic Diocese of Formosa (Latin: Dioecesis Formosensis) is a diocese located in the city of Formosa, Goiás, in the Ecclesiastical province of Brasília in Brazil.

- March 26, 1956 - Established as the Territorial Prelature of Formosa from the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Goiás
- October 16, 1979 - Promoted as the Diocese of Formosa
