The Roman Catholic Diocese of São José dos Campos (Latin: Dioecesis Sancti Iosephi in Brasilia) is a diocese located in the city of São José dos Campos in the Ecclesiastical province of Aparecida in Brazil. On Wednesday, April 24, 2013, Pope Francis named São José dos Campos Bishop Moacir Silva, in office since 2004, as Metropolitan Archbishop-elect of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Ribeirão Preto, and so the Diocese of São José dos Campos is now a vacant see (sede vacante) until a new Bishop is appointed.
