Roman Rafreider (born November 22, 1969) is an Austrian television host and journalist.
Life
Roman Rafreider studied political science and law in Vienna, Paris and Innsbruck. While his studies, he worked by different newspapers. He started his journalistic career in 1995 at the ORF-Landesstudio Vorarlberg, where he worked as editor and host of the radio shows. At 1998 he also hosted the show Vorarlberg heute.
1999, he changed to the show Zeit im Bild at the ORF's corporate headquarters in Vienna. There, he worked as host and chief editor of the ZiB 3. 2002, Rafreider changed the show and hosted Thema. Furthermore he hosted the ORF-consumer magazine Gut beraten Österreich.
Since April 2007, Rafreider is the anchorman and chief editor of the new ZiB 20 and the ZiB 24 (at midnight) in ORF eins.[1]
