Roman Andreyevich Vlasov (Russian: Роман Андреевич Власов; born October 6, 1990) is an Ethnic Russian Greco-Roman wrestler. He is Gold Medalist World Wrestling Championships 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey and runner-up World Wrestling Championships 2013 in Budapest, Hungary. In the 2012 Summer Olympics, Vlasov won the gold medal in the 74 kg Greco-Roman wrestling final.[1] He is Grand Master of sports in Greco-Roman wrestling. Two time European greco-roman champion. Summer Universiade 2013 Gold Medalist. Runner-up World Greco-Roman Cup 2015 in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran.
In September 2015, he won World Wrestling Championships 2015 again in Las Vegas, United States, in final match he beat Mark Madsen of Denmark, in this championships he did not lose more than one point.
