Romania at the UEFA European Football Championship

As of 2014, Romania has appeared at four UEFA European Championships, between 1984 and 2008. Their best European performance was surviving the group stage at Euro 2000, after which they were eliminated by eventual tournament runners-up Italy in the quarter-finals. At their last appearance in 2008 when they placed third in their group with France, Italy and the Netherlands.
