The roof of fourth ventricle is the dorsal surface of the fourth ventricle.
It corresponds to the ventral surface of the cerebellum.
The upper portion of the roof is formed by the superior peduncle and the superior medullary velum; the lower portion, by the inferior medullary velum, the epithelial lining of the ventricle covered by the tela chorioidea inferior, the taenia of fourth ventricle, and the obex.
