A Rosh Hashanah seder is a festive meal held on the Jewish holy day of Rosh Hashanah.

At the Rosh Hashanah seder, special foods known as sianiais (signs) are served.

History

The tradition of holding a seder on Rosh Hashanah is at least 2000 years old.[1] It has especially been practiced among the Sephardi communities of the Mediterranean region.<ref name=GB"897097570">Cardin, N.B.
