Rosita Fornés (born 1923) is a Cuban singer and film actress.
Life
She was born in the United States, but moved to Cuba as a small child. She made her stage debut in a musical comedy in 1938, and then appeared in two Cuban films before moving to Mexico where she starred in several films during the Golden Age of Mexican cinema.[1]
In the 1950s her multi-talents made her a leading exponent of the American-Hispanic term of Vedette.[2]
