The current high school was built in 1923 and is connected to the adjacent junior high by an underground tunnel. The school buildings need upgrading according to recent studies.[1]

Athletics
Rossford calls their sports teams the Bulldogs and they wear the school colors of maroon and gray. They were one of the founding members of the Northern Lakes League in 1956, but joined the Northern Buckeye Conference in 2011. Rossford has had a strong athletic tradition that dates back to the school's earliest competitions, despite being one of the smaller (if not smallest) schools in their league.
At the high school's location, basketball, volleyball, football, and the occasional soccer game are played. Baseball, softball, track & field, and soccer are played at the Glenwood Elementary complex almost 4 miles south of the main campus. Rossford is known locally for their unique football field setup, which only has one large set of stands set in the side of a hill. This leaves the visiting football team on a sideline without their fans behind them.
