Rotana Hotel Management Corporation PJSC (Arabic: روتانا) is a hotel management company in the Middle East, Africa, South Asia and Eastern Europe region. It has a portfolio of over 100 properties in 26 cities and operates five sub brands which include Rotana Hotels & Resorts,[1] Centro Hotels by Rotana,[2] Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts by Rotana,[3] Arjaan Hotel Apartments by Rotana.[4] and The Residences by Rotana.[5][6]

Its headquarters is located in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.[7] where it was founded in 1992 by Nasser Al Nowais and Selim El Zyr. Rotana manages under its Rayhaan Hotels & Resorts by Rotana brand the Rose Rayhaan by Rotana Hotel in Dubai. It was for 5 consecutive years (2009 - 2013) with 333 m (1,093 ft) the world's tallest hotel.[8]

History

The Rotana Hotel Management Corporation was founded in 1992 and is operating across the Middle East and Africa. The company was founded by partners Nasser Al Nowais and Selim El Zyr, who were both already well established within the Middle East hospitality industry, with Nasser Al Nowais having previously been instrumental in the formation of the Abu Dhabi National Hotels.

Future openings

New Rotana properties of all four sub brands are to open in Amman, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Al Khobar, Jeddah, Riyadh, Baghdad, Bahrain, Beirut, Doha, Khartoum, Libya and Rabat.[23]
