Rowland Blennerhassett (priest)

The Venerable (Richard Noel) Rowland Blennerhassett (1909 - 2009)[1] was Archdeacon of Tuam from 1956 until 1969.

Blennerhassett was born in 1909, educated at Trinity College, Dublin and ordained in 1934. After a curacy at Clonmel he held Incumbencies at Stradbally, Knappagh, Aughavale, Omey, Athenry and Westport. He was domestic Chaplain to the Bishop of Tuam from 1951 until 1957.[2]
