Roy Suryo Notodiprojo (born 18 July 1968 in Yogyakarta, Indonesia), commonly known as Roy Suryo was the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs of Indonesia who are members of the Second United Indonesia Cabinet. Roy was the host of e-Lifestyle on Metro TV for five years.,[1] Before believed President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono served as Minister, Roy Suryo is Member of Parliament from the electoral district of Yogyakarta Special Region.
Personal life
Born in Yogyakarta, Roy graduated from the Faculty of Communication at Gadjah Mada University in 2001 and some said he helped in the Department of Photography Indonesian Institute of the Arts in 1994-2004.
Minister for Youth and Sports Affairs
In early 2013, President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono appointed Roy Suryo as the Minister of Youth and Sports Affairs to replace Andi Malarangeng, who resigned on suspicion of being involved in Hambalang corruption case.[2]
