Royal Republic is a Swedish Garage Rock band formed in Malmö in late 2007. The band consists of guitarist and lead singer Adam Grahn, guitarist Hannes Irengård, bass guitarist Jonas Almén and drummer Per Andreasson. They have won many music competitions in Sweden, including Emergenza festival. They are currently signed with Bonnier Amigo Music Group, OnFire Records and RoadRunner Records.

Their first album, We Are the Royal was recorded at Beach House Studios [1] in Malmö, Sweden, with producer Anders Hallbäck. The album was completed in 2009 and was mixed at ToyTown Studios[2] in Stockholm, Sweden by Stefan Glaumann (Rammstein, Europe, Def Leppard). The album was released in Sweden in February 2010 and was well received by critics, fans and rock radio stations. Their second album, titled Save the Nation was released in August 2012. The first 3 singles all reached #1 on Bandit Rock's Most Wanted-list, and "Tommy-Gun" was #1 on MTV Rockchart.
