Rudramurti Ahir

Rudramurti Ahir was the chief of the Army in Ahirwar, Jhansi, India.[1][2]

History

Historically, the Ahir Batak Town (Ahrora) and the Ahirwar were founded by Ahirs, Rudramurti Ahir, the Army Chief who later became a king and was followed by Madhuriputra, Ishwarsen and Shivadatta, the well known Ahir Kings who later mingled with Yaduvanshi Rajputs.[3]
