Rui Gomes de Abreu (1460-1530?) was a Portuguese noblemen, Alcalde Mayor of Elvas.[1]

Biography

Rui was the son of Pedro Gomes de Abreu and Catarina de Eça (Abbess of the Convent) of Lorvão daughter of Infante Fernando, Lord of Eça.[2] His wife was Inês Brandão daughter of Fernão Brandão Sanches, comendador of Afife and Cabanas.[3]
