The Rukatunturi ski jumping hill, located in Kuusamo, is the largest ski jumping hill in Finland. It regularly hosts the opening event of the ski jumping World Cup.
The large hill and two smaller hills have a plastic matting. The unofficial hill record is 148 metres, jumped by Veli-Matti Lindström in the 2000 Finnish national championships. The official record is one metre shorter, jumped by Gregor Schlierenzauer in 2007.
