Rukutu Punta or Ruqutu Punta (Quechua rukutu, ruqutu a plant (Capsicum pubescens), punta peak, ridge; first, before, in front of,[2][3][4][5] hispanicized spelling Rocotopunta) is a mountain in the Cordillera Blanca in the Andes of Peru, about 4,400 m (14,436 ft) high. It is situated in the Ancash Region, Recuay Province, Ticapampa District, northeast of Qiruqucha. Rukutu Punta lies between the Yanamaray valley in the north and the Kunti valley (Conde) in the south.[1]
