Rundvågs Head

RundvÃ¥gs Head (69°53′S 39°0′E / 69.883°S 39.000°E / -69.883; 39.000Coordinates: 69°53′S 39°0′E / 69.883°S 39.000°E / -69.883; 39.000), in Antarctica, is a rock headland rising to 160 metres (520 ft) at the southwest margin of RundvÃ¥g Bay, on the southeast coast of Lutzow-Holm Bay. Mapped by Norwegian cartographers from air photos taken by the Lars Christensen Expedition, 1936–37, and named RundvÃ¥gshetta ("the round bay cap") for its proximity to RundvÃ¥g Bay.
