Rupa Subramanya is an Indian Economist[1][2] and commentator.[3][4] She used to write Economics Journal weekly column for The Wall Street Journal[5][6][7][8] She has also contributed articles in ForeignPolicy[9] and The Globe and Mail.[10] Rupa has also co-authored the book, Indianomix- Making Sense of Modern India with Vivek Dehejia.[11][12] The book was published in 2012.[13] Rupa is currently based in Mumbai.[14][15] She is consulting editor for Business Standard, an Indian business daily.[16]
