Rupert Myers
Sir Rupert Horace Myers KBE AO (born 21 February 1921) was the third vice-chancellor of the University of New South Wales, between 1969 and 1981. [1]
Honours
In the New Year's Honours of 1976, Rupert Myers was appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE).[2] In the Queen's Birthday Honours of 1981, he was appointed a Knight Commander of the order (KBE).[3]
In the Australia Day Honours of 1995, Sir Rupert was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO).[4] On 1 January 2001, he was awarded the Centenary Medal.[5]
