Ruslan Menirovich Pateev (Russian: Руслан Мэнирович Патеев,Tatar: Ruslan Mönir ulı Pateev, born April 25, 1990) is a Russian professional basketball player for Khimki of the VTB United League.
He was born in Moscow, Soviet Union, and is an Arizona State University alumnus.
Professional career
Pateev started his youth career in 2005 in Khimki Youth team as it played in European Youth Basketball League. In 2007 he moved to Montverde Academy (Florida, USA) where he spent two years. In 2009 Pateev entered Arizona State University where he played in the local team until 2013. In September 2013 he signed a two-year pro-contract with Russian team BC Khimki.[1]
