Ruth Aylett (born 1951 London) is Professor of Computer Science at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland.[1][2] She studied economics at the London School of Economics. Subsequently, she worked in computing and robotics at Sheffield Hallam University, the University of Edinburgh and the Centre for Virtual Environments at University of Salford.[3]
She is the author of Robots, a popular science book.
