The Albanian roach (Rutilus karamani) is one of a few species of ray-finned fish so named in the Cyprinidae family, found in Albania, the Republic of Macedonia, and Serbia and Montenegro. Its natural habitats are rivers and freshwater lakes. It is threatened by habitat loss.[1]
