Ruzikul Sadullaevich Berdiev (Uzbek: Бердиев Рўзиқул Саъдуллаевич) (born 22 October 1971) is a football manager and former player.

Career

From 1993 to 1996 he played for FK Yangiyer. In 1998 he moved to Nasaf Qarshi. With 314 matches Ruzikul Berdiev is the player with the most appearances for Nasaf.[1]

Managing career

Since 2009 Ruzikul Berdiev has been a coach within Nasaf Qarshi's structure. On 9 January 2012, he was appointed as the new head coach of Nasaf and replaced Anatoliy Demyanenko.[2][3] On 22 May 2012, Berdiev was sacked and replaced by Usmon Toshev as head coach of Nasaf. Berdiev remained in the club's coaching staff.[4]

On 18 November 2012, he was appointed as head coach of Nasaf Qarshi again, after Usmon Toshev was sacked. The 2013 season saw Nasaf finish 3rd and in the 2013 Uzbek Cup final they lost to Bunyodkor 1-2. On 23 December 2013 UFF named Berdiev Football Coach of the Year in 2013.[5]
