Ryszard Iwon Terlecki (born September 2, 1949) is a Polish politician, the Parliamentary Caucus Head of the Law and Justice party. Terlecki, a historian and professor of humanities, lectures at the Pontifical University of John Paul II. He is a Member of the Sejm, serving since 2007.[1] As a young man he was a hippie and drug user.
He is the author of an amendment to the Polish budget for 2016, that takes away money from culture and human rights organizations, and instead gives it to a private Catholic school, for support that the Polish Catholic Church gave Mr Terlecki's political party during the latest parliamentary elections.[2]
