Sándor Szabó is a Yugoslavian-educated pianist,[1][2][3][4] organist,[5][6] music director,[7][8][9][10] and conductor.[11] He is notable for performing as a concert artist throughout Europe and North America,[7][12] and he has led orchestras and choirs to perform in major concert halls and cathedrals on both continents.[7] He won prizes in national piano competitions in Yugoslavia[13][14] and has performed on radio and television.[14] He was assistant conductor and accompanist at the Serbian National Opera Theatre in Belgrade.[13] He is the director of music at the Central Presbyterian Church in Summit, New Jersey, the Oratorio Society of New Jersey, and the Church at Point O'Woods in Fire Island, New York.[13]
