SCR Public School is a public school located in Sheetla Colony Phase 2, Gurgaon, Haryana, India. The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. It was founded in 1999 by Late Shri Chandi Ram Kataria. It has about 1500 students and more than 100 teachers. Every year, SCR Public School has sent its outgoing pupils to several institutions of repute.
The school has a canteen, library, computer lab, physics, chemistry and biology labs. The school provides various facilities like transport, health care, work experience etc. The school has a good sports facilities like football, badminton, volleyball etc. The school also conducts an annual trip for the growth and development of students.

Activities
House system
The entire school is divided into four houses. Each house has a House Master/ Mistress, House Captain, Vice Captain, Prefects nominated or elected by the school. It is compulsory for every student of the school to be a member of a house. The main aim is to inculcate the qualities of leadership, co-operation, mutual understanding and self-reliance.
Sports
The ability of the students to perform and participate in a range of physical activities dramatically accelerates the overall learning process of children- including their ability to interact with others and environment. Structures physical activities and sports can be leveraged as a powerful teaching tool for experiential learning- in a way which is visceral, engaging and fun for children. The school has engaged coaches for different sports for classes VI-XII to give opportunity to the students to show their talents as per their own choice.
Life skills
Life Skills and Value Education classes are a part of the curriculum for the students of classes I to X. These classes provide the requisite help and guidance for the student to imbibe values and to lead a balanced and healthy life. Life skills are abilities for adaptive and positive behaviour that enable the students to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of everyday life. The students are introduced to a core set of life skills which help to promote health and well being of the students. Many skills such as decision making, problem solving, critical thinking, self awareness, empathy, coping with stress and emotions etc. are developed.
Quality circle
Quality Circle is a worldwide forum which works to help solve certain problems that arise in one's day-to-day life. It is highly prevalent in the Corporate sectors where workers face a lot of problems.
In school, it is used as a tool to understand the problems of the students which can be solved at the Peer level. Students work on a common platform discussing the various problems faced by students at different peer level and try to find a solution to them. Brainstorming and group discussion help them to put together their diverse views on a given problem and thereby coming to a solution through a common consensus.
Function
SCR family promotes national integration policy, celebrates regional, religious and national festivals with the unique principle and feeling of oneness. Besides this in our activities at school we also invite the parents time to time to participate in different co-curricular activities like on Mother's day, Grandparents Day etc. All this is possible only through your participation in school activities. The Annual function is a feature wherein mass participation is encouraged. The attempt is to provide each child an opportunity to showcase his or her talent on stage.
Clubs
To nurture the young minds, Extra-curricular activities form an integral part of the school curriculum. Under the guidance of able and enthusiastic teachers, our Clubs serve as a platform for students to prove themselves in various fields other than academics.
