SMS Pre-University College Brahmavara is one of the Oldest Institutes in Karnataka State. SMS College was established in 1953 by Rev Fr. P.G. Koshi.
Founder
Rev Fr. P.G. Koshi (1890–1953), was born at Tumpman, Kerala. He studied at Kottayam. Ordained priest at 'Vallikatu' church in 1915. He was a visionary, a man with a dream. Founder of SMS PU College, a promoter of true religion and lover of mankind. He was perennial source of inspiration and goodness.
