SMW Tag Team Championship

SMW Tag Team Championship
Details
Date established April 23, 1992
Date retired November 26, 1995
Promotion Smoky Mountain Wrestling

The SMW Tag Team Championship was the tag team title in Smoky Mountain Wrestling . It existed from 1992 until 1995 when the promotion closed.[1][2][3] Because the championship is a professional wrestling championship, it is not won or lost competitively but instead by the decision of the bookers of a wrestling promotion. The championship is awarded after the chosen team "wins" a match to maintain the illusion that professional wrestling is a competitive sport.[4]
