SV Bockum-Hövel was a German football club based in the Bockum-Hövel district of Hamm, North Rhine-Westphalia. It was formed in 1920 and joined Arminia Bockum-Hövel in 1971 to form SV Arminia Bockum-Hovel which in turn became a predecessor of present-day club SG Bockum-Hövel.[1][2]
SV first reached the 2. Landesliga Westfalen Staffel 2 (III) in 1951 and a season later finished as runners-up to VfJ Paderborn 08, an ancestor of SC Paderborn 07. When the 2. Landesliga was abolished it was placed in the Landesliga Westfalen (III) and played there from 1952–56 when it was downgraded as fourth tier. It then joined the new Verbandsliga Westfalen and stayed there until 1960 and from 1964–67. The highest position they achieved was eighth place in 1965.
