who has written more than 35,000 songs including Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi songs. He is often called Father of modern Punjabi poetry. Early life and career

Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq (S.M.Sadiq) was born in Faisalabad, Punjab, Pakistan. He never went to school even. His talent was so much God-gifted, that despite being uneducated, he wrote 35,000 songs. He started his career early life and made his way. Soon, his poetry sung by Ustaad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan attained such place which other poet can only imagine. He has been in field for 40 years.
