Saadia Afzaal

Saadia Afzaal is a Pakistani journalist and television news anchor. She is working with 92 News HD in Program named 92 at 8. She has hosted News Night on PTV News and a TV program at AAJ NEWS.

She has hosted political talk shows in which top Pakistani politicians, international politicians from the government and opposition members plus global analysts and other famous personalities have appeared. She joined electronic media in 2003. She has also hosted a political talk show Islamabad Se on Jaag TV (formerly CNBC) and hosted a morning show Bakhabar Savera on ARY News.

She has covered Foreign Office, and Parliament, and done a number of interviews with the heads of state and government including President Asif Ali Zardari, President Pervez Musharraf, Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gillani, and Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz. She has been doing outdoor coverage too. She was the first female anchor to cover SWAT operation with ISPR, covering incidents like the 2005 earthquake 2005, 2010 floods 2010, and the election in 2008 of US President Barack Obama with collaboration of Voice of America.

She lives in Islamabad with her second husband and two kids. She has a son from her first deceased husband.
