Sabam Siagian

Sabam Siagian (born May 4, 1932 Jakarta) is an Indonesian journalist. He served as the first editor in chief of The Jakarta Post.[1] Siagian departed the Jakarta Post in 1991 upon his appointment as Indonesia's Ambassador to Australia.[2]

Siagian was succeeded at the Jakarta Post by Susanto Pudjomartono, who served as the newspaper's second chief editor from 1991 until 2003.[2]
